The beginning of my brand.

Phillipa Lepley has thirty years experience as a wedding dress designer. She is based in the heart of Chelsea in London.
​
She designs and creates wedding dresses from a choice of fabrics to produce the perfect individual, unique outfit.
​
To design her dresses she uses the best fabrics including the French lace of Calais and the silk satin of India.
​
All dresses are handmade by top level steam-stresses and are custom-fitted throughout the sequence of seven appointments. So the bride can see her dress evolve towards its completion.
​
For the woman, the creation of this garment becomes a truly personal experience which symbolises a special moment.

THE GLOVE
With access to machines, high quality fabrics and skills, I custom-made my own glove by hand just like a dress would have been made. This creation was a special experience for me, a rediscovery of my hand and a new outlook on my disability.

This first step was an amazing oportunity. The internship stimulated my creativity in a co-working shop.
This creative atmosphere gave me the idea for my brand and an opportunity to create.
